Come see what The New York Times called

"A hail of fun and frolic - like the holy mother church, (this show) is a bona fide institution."

Our upcoming March production will introduce you to the Little Sisters of Hoboken when they discover

that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in

dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a

variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade

production of “Grease.” Here we meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary

Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary

Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who

lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an

audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon. With more

than 5000 productions worldwide, this show has been translated into 21 languages.

An Evening with BEN VEREEN

You may have read or heard that Tony Award-winning singer, actor and dancer Ben Vereen is coming to Carmel High School for a

special fundraising performance on Sunday, March 7th at 7:00pm to benefit Carmel Community Players (CCP). Carmel Community

Players has graciously extended an invitation to Actors Theater of Indiana (ATI) to also raise funds by selling tickets to this wonderful

and entertaining event featuring one of Broadway's legendary stars.

ATI will receive a commission on each ticket sold when you or anyone you know purchases tickets and mentions "ATI".  Tickets to the

event range from $34 - $69.

Ben Vereen is best known for his Broadway appearances in Hair, Jesus Christ Super Star, Pippin (Tony Award), Chicago, Wicked and

more.  He also appeared as "Chicken George" in the television miniseries Roots and in other shows such as Silk Stalkings, Tenspeed

and Brownshoe, Webster, Zoobilee Zoo, Star Trek - the Next Generation, Grey's Anatomy, and others.  Movie appearances include Funny

Lady, All That Jazz, Fosse, Idlewild, and The Louis Armstrong Story.

Mr. Vereen will present his Broadway Lecture/Performance when he visits Carmel this March.  This is more than just a performance.

It's an opportunity to listen to his amazing story, hear him sing, and watch him dance. He will also take some questions from the

audience.  After the performance, he will appear at a special VIP reception at the Carmel Community Playhouse at Clay Terrace.

Tickets for that event are $250 and include an orchestra seat to the performance, four tickets to an upcoming CCP performance, and a

donation to Carmel Community Players.

Again, your purchase also benefits Actors Theatre of Indiana.

There are two ways you can help Actors Theatre of Indiana.

1.       Purchase your tickets online at www.carmelplayers.org/benvereen.  During the secure checkout process, please enter the

promotional code: ATI   This will alert CCP that you've made a purchase through ATI.

2.       If you purchase tickets over the telephone or at CCP's box office, you must mention "ATI" at the time of purchase.

That's all there is to it!

Simply purchase your tickets to see Ben Vereen at Carmel High School on March 7, 2010 and you've helped two of the area's finest theater

organizations, Actors Theatre of Indiana and Carmel Community Players!

Sincerely,

Don Farrell, Producing Artistic Director / Co-Founder
